The “US Ultra Wide System” and “GS Ultra Wide System” developed by OSSTEM IMPLANT were recently approved by the US’s FDA for the first time.

OSSTEM’s US/GS Ultra Wide System is an upgraded version of the existing US/GS implants in terms of design and performance. It is a model wherein convenience of treatment has been improved considerably such as excellent initial fixation and shorter placement time as well as optimal apex design.

Placement is smooth, thanks to the excellent self-tapping capability; it is 100% compatible with the existing abutment for US/GS prosthesis, and it can be applied to all clinical cases since a wide range of sizes are provided.

In particular, since placement is possible immediately after molar tooth extraction, continued rise in the quantity clinically used is expected considering the stable function and convenience of the “US/GS Ultra Wide System.”

On the other hand, after receiving FDA approval for the “US/GS Ultra Wide System” in addition to that received for the “GS Implant System” in October 2007 and that for the “MS Implant System” in February of this year, OSSTEM expects sales in the US market to improve further.
