I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all the loyal customers of Osstem Implant.

Dental implantation has become a critical element of dental treatment in developed countries around the world in particular due to the aging of the population, rising incomes, the growing interest in health, and esthetic appreciation among other factors. This phenomenon results from its effectiveness, which has been fully verified, as an efficient treatment option and from the increasing need for treatment.

In order to meet this global trend, Osstem has been consistently expanding R&D investment and innovation with the goal of delivering better quality. As a result, we are confident that our technology and quality are world class.

In 2010, we released a number of new product lines including the TS III SA and TS III HA, and the CAS Kit. The TS III SA, which is applicable to most clinical cases, features a technology designed to improve bone conduction ability by 20%, while the TS III HA offers excellent osteogenesis ability. Furthermore, we produced, using our own technology and skill, the OSSTEM Guide, which is only the second guidance manual produced by an implant manufacturer anywhere in the world, and it is now being applied to various clinical fields.

Currently, Osstem is preparing to release a new product, the Bio-SA, which is coated with Nano-particle of HA on the SA surface. In addition, we are conducting a clinical study on PEP7, the world’s first new Osseo-inductive compound developed by Osstem, which induces osteogenesis by itself. Once we start the mass production of PEP7, it is expected to lead the bone-related market, including bone replacement, as well as the dental implant market.

Osstem implants are used in 45 countries all around the world including the U.S.A, Japan, China, India, and Germany, as well as in Korea. In 2010, we posted sales of USD 50 million in the global market. Osstem has grown rapidly to include a headquarters and twelve local subsidiaries, and has become a specialized implant manufacturer that now ranks 1st in the domestic market, 1st in the Asia-Pacific market, and 6th in the global market for dental implants.

We will promote better practices and the clinical management of our dental customers by strengthening our customer services and educational programs, as well as pursuing quality improvement and brand differentiation. Furthermore, we will fulfill our key management principle, which is based on “the improvement of human wealth and health,” as a leading implant company that sets the global standard in the field of dental implantation.
